The test did not show reactivity to Candida albicans even though I know overgrowth is an issue. Why?

A reaction to Candida within the Alcat Test is not a diagnosis of Candida overgrowth nor does a lack of reaction to it rule out Candida overgrowth. The Alcat Test is measuring the cellular response to Candida albicans, not the amount present in the mucous membranes of the body.
